Audi is on a winning streak, and it does not appear to be stopping any time soon. The automaker reported its 56^th consecutive month of record sales in August 2015. Last month saw a 9.9% increase in sales, or 18,794 vehicles, over August last year. This was Audi’s best-ever August sales and second-best monthly result ever in the U.S. market. The best-ever monthly record was set in December 2014 with 19,238 vehicles sold.

Record sales in August were thanks to an increase in sales of Audi’s luxury SUVs—the Audi Q3, Audi Q5, and Audi Q7. Combined, these models saw a 40.9% increase in sales. The brand’s launch of the all-new Audi TT also contributed greatly to monthly totals, as well as familiar favorites like the Audi A3 Cabriolet and the Audi A7.
